From an unsuccessful French patent for milk creaming for Parmesan, Simar started to build ad-hoc equipment for dairies that produce this kind of cheese; the result is a separation system equipped with a multi-layered tank for the production of a controlled and homogeneous product. Now the range includes horizontal storage tanks, equipment for milk conveyance, filters for the food industry and, particularly, for the dairy sector (Grana Padano, Parmigiano Reggiano and Provolone). Among the available equipment, there are: smokers, milk conveyance systems, fermenter units, cream/whey separators, filtering equipment. Furthermore the company offers stainless steel tanks and vats, in addition to complete plants for the dairy and canning industries, and for the production of hard cheeses.
